DYNAMIC MOVEMENT INTERVENTION (DMI)
Often, a child’s brain chooses the easiest short-term solutions. This might help initially, but lacks quality and variety of movement, impacting long-term development negatively.
PROVOKES ACTIVE MOTOR RESPONSES to specific dynamic exercises
STIMULATES NEUROPLASTICITY: The brains abiity to reorganize connections, especially potent in young children
IMPROVES GROSS MOTOR SKILLS: For children at least 3 months old
GRADUAL PROGRESSION : Continuously increases challenges for greater independence
FOCUSES ON ALIGNMENT & RANGE OF MOTION via functional movement
IMPROVES POSTURAL CONTROL & BALANCE in most exercises
ATTAINING MILESTONES: Such as rolling, sitting, standing, and walking
Cuevas Medek Exercise (C.M.E)
A therapy approach that helps children become independent, gain self-confidence and improve gross motor skills. Proven effective worldwide for 40 years.
BENEFITS OF CONSISTENT CME THERAPY
Provokes absent automatic motor functions
Child's cooperation and motivation are not requisites
Uses gravity for gradual progressionto distal support
Integrated stretching manoeuvres
High muscle tone i lower extremities is not an obstacle to standing control
AT AMIRS THERAPY GYM :
A trial period is offered to demonstrate short-term results. CME is available as stand-alone sessions or intensive programmes, and is also integrated into our 4- or 6-week protocols alongside other therapies.
HOW CME WORKS:
Starts with relationship building and assessment
Uses a selection from over 3000 exercises to build strength and stretch muscles and improve body agiltiy
Progresses to essential gross motor skills and floor exercises with specialized CME equipment for balance and agililty
Introduced to children as young as 3 months for core muscle development
